The best Kiss song without a question! I did know it when I was a child and didn't know it was Kiss. Kiss has made many transitions with the times a shame people don't see them for what they have managed to do over 40 years! Wow amazing band. Great tune! A real change in direction but I liked it, I feel the change really came to its own on unmasked. Na mate Na, this is obviously their best song, it got most publicity a d was superior in popularity around the KISS era, by the way Ace frehley needs to be back in kiss and Peter Crisis it's a shame that Eric Car is dead he was also a great drummer!
As far as my favorite song concerned it's a tie between I was made for loving u and detroit city. Yet Rolling Stone has barely acknowledged their existence, and they are still not in the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame after a decade of being eligible. To thrive and to still be hugely relevant in the music business for almost 40 years is pretty much unheard of.
They have memorable songs that stand the test of time. If you haven't heard Alive One (I know Kiss freaks have), you have to hear it. In fact, all of the versions from Alive one are better than the studio versions. Okay, I don't like kiss, but this song is at least real rock. Never been a kiss fan, but this song is pretty good. I don't think there is any debate when it comes to the most popular, head banging worthy, feel good, adrenaline pumping rock roll anthem EVER! This is a staple not only for KISS but for ROCK and ROLL in general, adored and loved by the KISS Army and many other rock fans. There are at least 20 KISS songs that should get that kind of attention but don't. Groups like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Motley Crue and D Leppard have all of their old hits played evenly on a regular basis. For what ever reason, it seems to get most of the airplay on todays radio. This is so much better than "Rock and Roll All Nite" I really like this song, on the other hand I often get bored of Rock and Roll All Nite half way through the song. Although sometimes I find people who also like hard/heavy classic rock like the stuff on ozzy's boneyard, I still feel alone when people say they hate classic rock or say they like rap/pop. It's just really to bad that the original four could not have worked together it just shows how much drugs, alcohol and greed can screw up everything. But this is the ultimate song for the hard core KISS Fan. # 1, R&R all night 2, Domino 3, Shout it out loud 4, Creatures of the night 5, Love Gun 6, Crazy nights 7, Shock me 8, Black Diamond 9, Calling Dr. 3, which was released in early December 2007.Destroyer is not there best album in my opinion, I put it at 4, behind Creatures of the Night, Hotter than Hell, and Rock and Roll Over.
